Because every child matters!
Pulaski County CASA provides Hope for children in our community that have been brought into DHS's custody because they have been abused and neglected. Children should not be defined by the worst thing that ever happens to them, children should have Hope.
CASAs can help children find their voices to tell their stories. Every child deserves a happy ending. CASAs advocate for these children to be in a safe permanent home as soon as possible. This can either be their home of origin, but if that is not possible, CASAs advocate for the best interest of permanency for every child. CASAs are caring adults, trained to speak out in court for the best interests of abused and neglected children, in an effort to move them toward safe, permanent homes. CASA Volunteer Advocates do not need to have experience in law or social work, they simply need to have a heart for kids in crisis.
